Boro Inspired.... continued

Back in July last year I posted a picture of a piece of work I was working on entitled 'Calm' for an upcoming exhibition with a Storm theme,  I probably started it in March of that year - and here I am a year later and I am still working on it.  I had put it aside for a long time as I was uninspired with it but after looking at it lying on the floor for several months I have now added quite a few more layers of fabric and stitch and its starting to take shape.

Greetings from America, Caroline ~ I have happened upon your blog quite by accident [googling Dorothy Caldwell] but I had to stop and tell you that I think your textile work is fabulous. Have spent several very enjoyable minutes scrolling through your posts looking at your work ... great stuff here! I'm so happy I landed here and will visit again.

Best wishes finishing 'Calm' ... it's a beaut.

Good to meet you today Caroline. I am sure you will return to your beautiful "Calm" with renewed inspiration. It certainly renewed my desire to stitch. I have added your blog to my daily dose so I can follow.
