Mixed Media Textiles with Copper and satin

I had made this piece recently for an exhibition but it didn't turn out to be. I quite like it. It measures around 35inches x 26inches and is made from patinated copper sheeting, discharged and rust dyed satin with hand/machine stitch and screen printing.

fascinating Carrie - I can't begin to find the words to describe what I think of it but it's so interesting to look at.

Gorgeous combination of colour and texture. Wish I leaved nearer to see your work in RL.

Facinating is the right word here, I belive. So many different textures make you want to touch it with the hands.
