Contemporary Embroidery Samples

These are some of the samples I prepared for my embroidery course which i am doing at NCAD in Dublin every week. I am loving it :0)) The images were transferred to the linen with Jet FX transfer paper - this is a very easy option for transferring images, I think I prefer the gel medium transfer method but these give a perfect finish, with a slightly waxy feel to them.

They're fabulous, Carrie! As Scrappelise said, you can do everything beautifully. Although there's no image in it, the second one is the one that got me straight away, the stitches really take centre stage!
