Tyvek

Here is a piece of tyvek which I altered by painting, heating, stitching beads and wire, glueing some shells and scrim and some found bits of twigs from the beach. You never know what you are going to get with tyvek - its a great material to work with. TFL.

I love this piece - the colours really do remind me of the sea and it has an aura of the sea about it.

This is an awesome technique! I have just taken an interest into manipulating fabric and was reading about it today. How cool to have found your blog! I've had you bookmarked for some time now, but had taken an hiatus from blogging. I am adding you to my blog links as I love your work and would love to follow you through your art endeavors.
