I have completed a challenge - its been so long since I have done any but the challenge was an image transfer so it was hard to not do it. Have a look at Saturday Workout for the challenge.
This is a gallery wrapped canvas which has been painted and collaged and stripped back with rubbing alcohol. The transfer is an acetate transfer with gel medium onto fabric and one of my lovely little cages stitched on top. Hope you like it :0)

Its a perfect theme for you..the queen of transfers. This is such a soft gentle coloured canvas...I love it.
So nice to see your transferwork again! I do agree, you are the queen!
Wow another stunning piece. I love your little cage design, the background is superb as is your transfer. :o)
Its beautiful Carrie, I love the soft colours and those little cages are fantastic =0)
I really like this piece Carrie - you've gone a bit daring with the yellow colour - not your normal choice, but I love how the paint is so distressed. I really love the textured look to the leaves. Another fabulous piece from you.
Love the distressed feel to the canvas itself carrie, great transfer work as always, and your birdcage is sooooo cool:)
Your work is exceptional, Carrie. The image transfer & little cage are so beautiful. :)
Wonderful canvas!
Its gorgeous.
How funny about the cage - i adore yours too.
You can buy the black wire at hardware stores here so I am sure you can there too - it is called black anneal and is used for tying fences. Otherwise email me and I will send you some links on where to buy in the usa.
